Alright, its ranting session for me now.. And you dont have to be a genius to know what i`m gonna write next... Its definitely Rafael Benitez.. I`m not surprised if his picture is stick on a dart board by the liverpool fans.. His tactics and decisions has been horendous for this season.. One may say that we finished 2nd last season and were playing with almost the same team as last season.. But if you realized, we were partnering alonso with masherano... But this season, its lucas and masherano.. I think the departure of alonso just paved the way for Benitez to let his beloved "son" be a regular starter.. Then we brought aquilani.. One who had no experience at all in english football and not mentioning his problems with injuries.. He was brought to "fill" the gap left by alonso.. He showed signs of brilliance at times but time will tell if he`s another entry in the list of "good" signings by Benitez.. I seriously think that he should get another striker if he`s intending to stick with the partnership of lucas and masherano instead of getting another midfielder... In gerrard, we have one of the best midfielders in the world and masherano, one of the best holding midfielder in the world.. But in Lucas, we got one of the worst product from Brazil to ever win the award that was previously won by players like kaka, tevez, romario, zico and etc etc... He may have started well at liverpool but he eventually became a joke in the team... But he need not worry about being sold or reduced to sitting on the bench or maybe in the reserves as long as Rafael Benitez is in charge..
Another big reason why we are in a slump right now is the owners, Tom hicks and George Gillet..
Their off the pitch arguments have created uncertainty in the team.. And with them insisting on holding on to liverpool unless they received a very attractive offer, i believe the dark clouds hovering above Liverpool Fc will stay for quite a while... IF... i said IF.. They were to offload Liverpool to a stable investors.. The DREAM of getting BENITEZ getting booted out of Liverpool might just come thru.. Just look at the list of managers linked with us right now... Guus Hiddink ( the guy who made magic out of nothing), Jose Mourinho ( the self-proclaimed The Special One.. had instant success upon arriving at chelsea a couple of seasons ago ), Kenny Danglish ( The Liverpool legend)... I be really happy if Guus Hiddink or Jose Mourinho takes over at Liverpool.. i wouldnt mind Kevin Keegan too... But then its just a DREAM of mine... so for now we had no choice but to stick with benitez...
Oh man, it really sucks to be a KOP now... with torres out for 6 weeks, gerrard 2-3 weeks, benayoun 4 weeks... out of champions league, fa cup, carling cup.. ridiculously off the pace for the title.. i think the only consolation for me would be e sacking/departure of Rafael Benitez and the arrival of a new owner/investor... i really dont mind not finishing 4th this season if there`s the condition to get him out... It would be a good timing to clear away some useless players from the team as well...
Okay enuff of football, i`m having FYP presentation on either mon or tue... I`m quite confident of scoring but i`m worrying for my teammates as the comments made by my supervisor is really bad.. lets pray hard that we get thru this together... Then we be enjoying the last 3 - 4 weeks in sch.. :)))) till then.. i`m signing off alr..
